House of Lords

The British Citizen Youth Award is the young person's equivalent of an MBE. Jayce was the youngest recipient among 20 outstanding youths recognised at the House of Lords. The medal recognises sustained, selfless contribution to community — in Jayce's case, founding an independent press, donating books to underserved schools, and reaching 10,000+ children through workshops and storytime sessions.

Top 0.1% for his age group. Assessed by Lyn Kendall, British Mensa's Gifted Child Consultant, at age 4 years 11 months. Jayce is also a member of Potential Plus UK, a charity supporting gifted children and their families. Mensa membership is one of the more recognisable signals of his cognitive profile, but Jayce and his family are clear: the numbers are not the story.

International Book of Records — World Record

World's Youngest Author to Publish a Book Series Simultaneously

On World Book Day 2023, at age 4 years 10 months, Jayce published Jayce's Sweet Tooth and A Beach With No Sea simultaneously — and was officially recognised by the International Book of Records as the world's youngest author to publish a book series at the same time. A formal Guinness World Record application is also in progress for Our Stories, Our World.
