Twenty young authors will be selected from this year's entries — their stories and poems published in the 2026 Jayce's World anthology, launched at the Library of Birmingham.
We aim to contact all shortlisted authors by October 2026. The full list of 20 winning authors will be published here, alongside their published pieces and a launch-event programme.

Last year
The very first nationwide child-led anthology featured 20 young authors, ages 6–10, and made Jayce a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title holder for Youngest editor of a published anthology (male) — achieved at age 7 (2026).
